CamCare UK is a British community-led charity, based in Cambridge, dedicated to building stronger, fairer communities through inclusion, education, and opportunity. We work with people of all backgrounds to reduce inequality, strengthen wellbeing, and create positive, lasting change through practical local action.

Dr Shrobona Bhattacharya
Chair
Shrobona Bhattacharya is the Founder and Chair of CamCare UK. She is a scientist with a PhD in Biological Sciences and is widely recognised for her leadership in community development, STEM education, and inclusion. In 2023, she received national-level recognition as Community Champion at 10 Downing Street, and was awarded the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire Award for Diversity and Inclusion in 2023, 2025. Earlier, she was awarded as Community Champion at the Clinical School, University of Cambridge in 2019, and by the Luminus group in 2016 for her community impact.
Dr Sujit Bhattacharya
Trustee
Sujit Bhattacharya is over 36 years in engineering research and hands-on design, specializing in Signal Processing for leading space and radar organizations. Principal designer for ISRO and ESA satellite payloads (RISAT, INSAT, GSAT, OceanSat, SolarOrbiter).
Dr Ravichander Vipperia

Ravichander Vipperla is an Applied Science Manager at Amazon AGI, based in Cambridge. He is a senior AI and speech technology expert with over 15 years of experience across Amazon, Samsung AI, Nuance, and academic research at the University of Edinburgh.
Ramesh Jayaraman
Trustee
Ramesh Jayaraman is a Staff Engineer at MediaTek in Cambridge and an Executive MBA candidate at Cambridge Judge Business School. He brings over 15 years of experience in wireless technologies, AI, and software engineering across global leaders including MediaTek, Anritsu, Nokia, and Sasken.
