We are delighted to share that Avi, the younger brother of Aarohi from the CERC FLL Curiosity Crew Team in Cambourne, has been awarded the Iconic Blue Peter Badge by the team at BBC’s famous children’s programme Blue Peter.

Avi, who is just 5 years old, has loved building with LEGO since the age of two. For the past two seasons he has been attending CERC FIRST LEGO League (FLL) sessions with his sister simply for fun. Over time, he became curious about the robots and missions and began experimenting with a LEGO SPIKE robot, creating his own missions and attachments at home.

Impressed by his creativity and passion, his parents submitted his work to the Blue Peter team. They hoped he might receive a badge - but the team were so impressed that they awarded him the Iconic Blue Peter Badge.

This achievement also highlights the importance of supportive learning environments like CERC, where young children can explore creativity, robotics and engineering.

Congratulations to Avi on this wonderful achievement - an inspiration for many young builders and innovators! 🚀
